The purpose of this paper is to compare some motoric and physical parameters of individuals training Aikido regularly and those have just started to train. For this purpose, 64 individuals some of which are beginners in Aikido (n=36) and the rest being regular Aikido students, are volunteered to be test subjects. Those training Aikido regularly was choosen among people who attended training sessions for at least 1 year three times a week. Participants are subjected to Flamingo balance test, sit-lay-reach test, shoulder elasticity, wrist and ankle elasticity tests, simple selective reaction test, 1 minute of shuttle and press-up tests. Man Whitney U test is also conducted, and data analysis showed that statistically there is a difference between the beginners and regulars of Aikido in reaction time of significance level of P<0,01 and P<0,05, shoulder elasticity, right ankle elasticity and 1 minute of shuttle and press-up tests. The results revealed the significant effects of the regular Akido training on some motoric and physical parameters.
